Apple iPhones Prices will Go Up After Budget 2024-25 in Pakistan

After the 2024-25 budget, there were also changes to mobile phone taxes. In the new fiscal year, starting from July 1, 2024, Apple iPhone prices will be higher than the current prices in Pakistan.

Mobile phones, including iPhones with a value above US$500, will be subjected to 25% sales tax. This category contains all the flagship phones of Samsung and Apple, including the Galaxy series, iPhone 11, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, and iPhone 15.

Mobile phones under $500 will be subjected to an 18% sales tax. In Pakistan, the local smartphones will also face an 18% government tax. The new tax numbers mean that iPhone prices will increase from July 1, 2024.

Apple is not officially available in Pakistan, and most of its phones are imported from other countries; hence, you should expect higher prices for current iPhones and upcoming iPhone 16 models.

The local government of Pakistan wants to increase the tax revenue by taxing luxury items. Starting July 1, 2024, the prices of local and imported smartphones will increase.
